The Lake.

The 1.3-acre, spring-fed mature lake features depths of up to 10ft.

  • Species Available: Specimen carp (up to 25–30 lbs), chub, perch, roach, rudd, tench, and bream.
  • Accessibility: Fishing is private and exclusively reserved for guests staying at the on-site holiday lodges.
  • Tackle Shops: The nearest local bait and tackle shop is Woodys Angling Centre in Hereford.

 

All guests are welcome to fish the lake, we just ask that the rules displayed below are followed (these will also be displayed in your lodge).

• ANYONE FISHING OVER THE AGE OF 13 MUST HOLD A CURRENT ENVIROMEENT FISHING LICENCE

• ANYONE UNDER THE AGE OF 13 MUST BE ACCOMAPNIED BY AN ADULT AT ALL TIMES

• ONLY BARBLESS HOOKS TO BE USED

• NO RODS TO BE LEFT UNATTENDED AT ANY TIME

• UNHOOKING MATS ARE PROVIDED SHOULD YOU REQUIRE AND SHOULD BE USED AT ALL TIMES

• LANDING NET MINIMUM 26’’ REQUIRED, PREFERABLY LARGER

• NO KEEP NETS TO BE USED

• NO FISH TO BE REMOVED FROM SITE

• WHEN PHOTOING, NO FISH ARE TO BE HELD MORE THAN 12 INCHES OFF THE GROUND AND TO BE HELD OVER THE HOOKING MAT AT ALL TIMES

• FISHING LINE MUST BE A MINIMUM OF 8LB BREAKING STRAIN
